Hello Bruin Family!
We hope 2019 has been treating you well so far. The Social Justice Summit was a tremendous success. Participants had the opportunity to attend 3 panels: Mental Health Matters, Hip Hop & Public Policy, and The Movement Matters. The day culminated in a Social Justice Conversation between Angela Davis and Common, which was moderated by Jemele Hill. Those in attendance were called to "leave there, and lead something."
The UBAA Officers are inspired now, more than ever to continue developing our alumni community. United, we have the ability and resources to make this world a better place.
