C Application Readiness Workshop
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 9:00-11:30 AM
James West Alumni Center
The UCLA Black Alumni Association (UBAA) cordially invites you to visit the UCLA campus for an Application Readiness Workshop.
Applying to college can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to figure it out alone. Join us for a morning designed to demystify the UC application process and help you put your best foot forward.
What you'll gain
- Insight into what it takes to be a competitive UCLA applicant
- A walkthrough of the UC application process
- Firsthand advice from current Bruins about life and success at UCLA
Who should attend
This workshop is open to all, and it is designed for high school juniors, seniors, and community college students applying to UCLA this fall. Parents, family members, and mentors are welcome to come along and support the applicants in their lives.
For UBAA, this is what "Go out. Be great. Come back and give back." looks like in action. Alumni who walked this path are opening the door for the next generation of Bruins.
