Join the UCLA Black Alumni Association for an evening of jazz. This is a free family-friendly event.
The UBAA in the City series takes us to Jazz at LACMA with pianist, keyboardist, composer, and arranger Theo Saunders. He has been on the international jazz scene for more than 55 years and performed and recorded with a dizzying array of jazz artists from Slam Stewart to Carla Bley. His career also includes extensive work in the musical spheres of Latin jazz, R&B, funk, musical theater, and opera.
This is a free family-friendly event. Don't forget to pack your blanket, chairs, food, and beverages. And of course, don't forget to throw on your Bruin gear.
While the performance begins at 6:00 PM, we strongly encourage you to arrive early!
