Annual Black Convocation: Celebrating Black Life at UCLA
Thursday, October 15, 2026 | 5:00-7:00 PM
Carnesale Commons, Palisades Room
Join us for an evening of community, food, and celebration at the Annual Black Convocation, a UCLA tradition that brings Black students, faculty, staff, and alumni together under one roof.
Enjoy dinner and student performances that showcase the talent, creativity, and voices of today's Black Bruins. Connect with peers and faculty across generations, and explore campus resources that support the Bruin community, from academic programs to spaces built for Black students to thrive.
For alumni, this is a chance to reconnect with the campus, meet the students who are carrying the legacy forward, and show up for the community that helped shape you. Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, there's a seat at the table for you.
