Democratic Debate Nights

The Debate was hosted by The Metaphor Club, a local African American shared workspace on Crenshaw with monthly membership options for mobile freelancers/entrepreneurs.
The first of many Democratic Debate Nights was a unifying event. UBAA was present in large numbers, fueled by a collective concern about the seriousness of the issues facing the African American community. Feedback as candidates spoke was captured on a wall sized chalkboard, with all viewers able to give candidates' points based on their responses to the facilitators questions. During intermissions, the workspace owners raffled memberships and guests enjoyed light snacks. The Metaphor Club is a creative space that we encourage all to visit and consider using as a point of connection, creativity, and collaboration
