Blood in the Water

The UBAA presents its Fall Book Series- Blood in the Water- The Attica Prison Uprising of 1971 and its Legacy, by Pulitzer prize winning author and historian, Heather Ann Thompson. 

In conjunction with the Ralph Bunche Center for African American Studies under the direction of Interim Director, Kelly Lytle Hernandez, UBAA will highlight Ms. Thompson's work through an depth discussion of her award winning book in two general meetings of the Lit Club and a third VIP dinner reception featuring the author immediately following Ms. Thompson's appearance at the Bunche Center Speaker Series in late November. Books will be available on the UBAA website by 10/1 and tickets for the dinner will be available 10/30.
